Expectations

We do not accept forced labour, trafficking, unlawful child labour or coercive employment practices. Workers should be treated with dignity and be free to raise concerns. Suppliers and partners are expected to uphold lawful labour standards.

Proportionate checks

Consider risk when choosing and reviewing suppliers, especially where labour arrangements or supply chains are opaque. Raise concerns about withheld identity documents, recruitment fees, threats or restricted freedom with management. Where immediate danger is suspected, contact emergency services.

Reporting and action

Report concerns to management or sales@qualitywaste.co.uk. Handle reports sensitively and seek appropriate advice. Investigate credible concerns and consider corrective action, escalation or ending a relationship where appropriate.

Status of this document

This is a public company policy. It is not presented as a signed annual transparency statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act. Where the statutory reporting requirements apply, a separate annual statement requires the appropriate approval and signature.
