We can supply suitable clip-top drums so your team has a dedicated place for agreed aerosol waste. The drum specification and storage arrangements need to suit the products you are putting inside; a standard drum is not automatically suitable for every aerosol load.

A Few Simple Storage Reminders
Keep aerosols away from heat, direct sunlight and ignition sources, in a suitable secure, ventilated storage area. Use the supplied container as instructed, keep its lid secured when not adding waste and do not overfill it. Do not puncture, crush or empty cans yourself, or modify drums. Leaking or damaged cans need separate advice—tell us before putting them into a normal collection drum.
Recycling Aerosol Cans & Destroying Unwanted Stock
Aerosol disposal involves the product and propellant as well as the metal can. Steel and aluminium can be recovered where suitable after the contents have been dealt with through the appropriate treatment route. Full or part-used business aerosols should not be treated like clean, empty packaging.
If recalled, branded or unsellable aerosol stock must not return to sale, we also offer secure product destruction. We do not present an ordinary recycling collection as a destruction service.
Aerosols can contain flammable or other hazardous substances. The correct classification and collection paperwork depend on the products and their condition. You can send us some photos of the labels, taken safely, if you are unsure.
