Business Gas Bottle Disposal
A redundant cylinder is easy to put aside and forget. When you are clearing a workshop, warehouse or business premises, we can help you work out the right route for unwanted gas cylinders and cartridges.
Let us know the cylinder types, the gas shown on the labels and approximately how many you have. If you are unsure, send us some photos of the cylinders and their markings. Acceptance depends on the gas, ownership and condition, so contact us before including cylinders in a collection.
Gas Cylinder Collection for Clearances & Ongoing Waste
We can help businesses enquire about a one-off cylinder clearance or repeat collections for accepted waste types. Small cartridges, industrial cylinders and specialist gas containers are not interchangeable, so tell us about each type separately.
If your clear-out also includes Fire Extinguishers or Aerosol Cans, mention them too. They have their own collection services and should not simply be mixed into a cylinder load.
Leave Cylinders Intact for Collection
Even a cylinder that appears empty may still contain gas or pressure. Do not vent, puncture, cut or remove valves to prepare it for disposal. Keep labels and markings in place.
Tell us about damaged, leaking, corroded or fire-affected cylinders before any collection is arranged. A leaking or unsafe cylinder is not a routine pickup: keep people away and follow your workplace emergency procedures and the gas supplier’s advice. We do not offer emergency gas-leak response.
Your Questions Answered
Can you collect propane and butane bottles?
Contact us with the bottle types and owner details first. Supplier-owned LPG bottles should normally go back to the supplier. We can help explore disposal routes for other accepted cylinders.
Can you collect cylinders that still contain gas?
Tell us the gas type and whether you believe the cylinders are full, part-used or empty. Do not release gas yourself. The gas and condition determine whether a suitable collection can be arranged.
Do we need to remove the valves?
No. Leave cylinders intact. Do not remove valves, puncture or cut cylinders to prepare them for collection.
How do we get a gas cylinder disposal quote?
Let us know the cylinder types and approximate number, with photos if helpful. Once the accepted cylinders and collection route are confirmed, our team can provide a free, no-obligation quote.
