Who we are
Quality Waste Limited is the controller of personal information used for our own enquiries, customer administration and business records. Company number: 16132365. ICO registration: ZB833037. Information we use
We use names, business contact details, collection addresses, enquiry messages, booking instructions, correspondence, invoices and service records. Our enquiry forms collect contact details and information about the service you need. You can also choose to upload photographs or documents, such as images of your waste or an equipment list. Please only include information needed for your enquiry. Technical information such as IP addresses and server logs may be used to protect the website. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
Why we use it and our lawful bases
We use information to answer enquiries and arrange requested services, relying on steps before a contract or performance of a contract where appropriate. Business contact correspondence, service administration, fraud prevention and website security may rely on our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. Legal obligations apply to relevant accounting and waste records. Where consent is required for optional marketing or website technologies, you can withdraw it. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Who may receive information
Information may be shared where necessary with authorised staff, collection or treatment partners, hosting and email providers, professional advisers and regulators. Sharing is limited to the purpose concerned. We do not sell personal information. Where we process data-bearing equipment on a customer’s instructions, responsibilities and processing terms must be agreed separately; this notice does not replace a data-processing agreement.
Keeping information
We keep information only while needed for the enquiry, service, legal obligations or a legitimate dispute. Retention depends on the record and relevant law. Website enquiries are sent by email and retained in our business correspondence systems; the forms do not create a separate enquiry database. Uploaded photos and documents are temporarily processed by the website and attached to the enquiry emails. Temporary website copies are deleted after the email sending attempt. Files received by email are retained with the related correspondence for as long as needed for the enquiry, service or applicable record-keeping requirements. International services and safeguards
Supporting a customer in China, Hong Kong or elsewhere does not mean that all personal information is transferred abroad. If a supplier or service involves a restricted international transfer, we must assess the destination and use the safeguards required by UK data-protection law. Ask us for details relevant to your service.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. You can object to direct marketing at any time. We do not use the enquiry form to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing. Cookies, maps and external services
Read our Cookies Policy for website technologies and external links. Google Maps is offered through a link so that you choose whether to visit Google. If a CAPTCHA service is enabled, its privacy information must be presented alongside the form.
