Whistleblowing & Speaking Up Policy
Raising genuine concerns about wrongdoing, safety, environmental harm or misuse of information.
Website edition: 5 October 2026 · Quality Waste Limited
What to report
Raise concerns about suspected illegal conduct, bribery, exploitation, unsafe work, serious environmental harm, data misuse or concealment of wrongdoing. Customer service concerns can use the Complaints Policy; personal employment grievances follow the relevant employment procedure.
How to raise a concern
Contact management, or email sales@qualitywaste.co.uk asking for confidential escalation to a director. Explain what you observed, when and any relevant evidence. Do not obtain evidence unlawfully or expose personal information unnecessarily. If internal reporting is inappropriate, seek independent advice about lawful external reporting routes.
Fair handling
Genuine concerns should be considered fairly and without retaliation. Protect confidentiality as far as possible, while recognising that investigation or legal duties may require limited disclosure. This policy does not restrict statutory whistleblowing protections.
