Deleting files or resetting a computer does not mean the stored information has disappeared. Our data destruction service physically shreds data-bearing media from computers, laptops, servers and other equipment.
We help UK businesses dispose of hard drives, SSDs and other storage media securely. Loose drives can be collected alongside complete IT equipment, including faulty devices that no longer power on.
Data-bearing media are shredded as standard, and a Certificate of Data Destruction is included. You do not have to pay for a separate certificate as an optional extra.
Back up the information you want to keep before collection. Keep the unwanted devices secure until handover, and never send confidential files with an enquiry.

Do you shred hard drives or wipe them?
Data-bearing media are physically shredded. We do not offer wiping as an alternative to the standard shredding service.
Is a destruction certificate included?
Yes. Your Certificate of Data Destruction is included as standard.
Can you destroy data on broken computers?
Yes. Physical media shredding does not require the computer to power on.
Can loose hard drives be collected with computers?
Yes. Include loose drives with the rest of your IT equipment when asking for a collection.
How much does hard drive destruction cost?
The media type, amount and collection affect the price. Data destruction is standard on our IT collections, including qualifying free IT collections. Ask for a clear quote for your load.
What should I do before collection?
Back up anything you need, keep the equipment secure and separate the items you want to retain.
