New computers are installed, the team is back to work, and the old equipment is still under the desks. An office upgrade is not finished until the retired IT has a proper home. Quality Waste makes IT recycling and disposal easier for businesses across the UK.
More than computer disposal
An IT clear-out often includes laptops, desktop PCs, servers, monitors, printers, cables and accessories. We also help with mobile phone and tablet recycling, server room clearances and IT asset disposal.
You can arrange a collection for a few unwanted devices or combine equipment from a wider office clearance. Send some photos or a simple list with item counts, and we will help you choose the service.
Can you get free IT recycling?
We offer free IT collection for qualifying UK business loads. Eligibility depends on the equipment, its condition and the collection location, so free computer disposal is not automatic for every load.
Within most qualifying collections, you can include up to three pallets of mixed IT such as printers, monitors, cables and accessories. Let us know the amounts so we can confirm what your collection covers. If your load does not qualify, our team will provide an affordable quote.
Protect your information before handover
Back up anything your business needs to keep and check that the equipment can leave your organisation. Keep retired devices secure while waiting for collection. A faulty laptop or a computer that no longer starts can still contain stored information.
Data-bearing media are shredded as standard with our IT recycling service, and a Certificate of Data Destruction is included. Additional asset-level reports can be discussed separately if your organisation needs them.
Clear the clutter without a complicated inventory
A full spreadsheet is not needed for an initial enquiry. A few clear photos, your collection postcode and a rough idea of the amount give us a useful starting point. Mention any equipment upstairs or in a restricted server room.
Explore our IT recycling and data destruction services, or ask our friendly team whether your computers and laptops qualify for free collection.
