More room in the lab. Less unwanted chemical stock.
Old reagents and chemicals often stay in the cupboard long after they are needed. Our laboratory chemical disposal service helps teaching labs, research teams and businesses clear them responsibly, whether it is a few bottles or a full laboratory clearance.
We can help with acids, alkalis, solvents, chemical powders and part-used stock. You can speak to us before you have a complete inventory. Our team will explain what information is needed and help you move the job forward without unnecessary back-and-forth.
Chemicals still need to be identified before collection. Keep labels and available safety data sheets, and do not mix or open unknown products to investigate. Tell us about damaged containers, unstable chemicals or biological materials so the right specialist arrangements can be made.
Laboratory Chemical Disposal FAQs
Do you collect chemicals from school and university labs?
Yes. We help with unwanted teaching stock, expired reagents and laboratory clearances, as well as chemicals from commercial and research laboratories.
Do I need a full chemical list before contacting you?
No. Contact us first and we will help with the next steps. Product identification is needed before collection, but you do not need to finish all the paperwork before asking for help.
Can you help with unlabelled chemicals?
Tell us about them separately. Further identification may be needed. Do not open, smell or mix unknown chemicals to try to work out what they are.
Can I put all the chemicals in one drum?
No. Keep chemicals separated in their containers. Incompatible materials can react, so ask us about suitable storage and packaging.
Can contaminated glassware be included?
Talk to us about what it was used for. Chemical contamination, sharps or biological exposure can change the collection requirements.
What does laboratory chemical disposal cost?
The chemicals, amount and collection work affect the price. We will explain your options and give you a quote for the clearance.
